    1. Being married to the author I am obviously biased but a great beer travelogue. I am so proud of Merideth.

    2. I love this book because Merideth's writes so honestly about their beer travels. It's not just a tale of breweries and famous beer bars they have been too, but the feeling of traveling into the unknown. 3. It's not what beer is it's what beer does. For all you folks out there who actually enjoy what beer DOES instead of dwelling on the minutia of what it IS this is a great read. And not just 'cuz I'm in it either. ;)Merideth and Chris take us on a journey through the world's beer culture, yes. But more importantly it takes us on a journey of self-discovery and shows us what beer can do when we allow it to work its liquidy magic.Definitely worthy of a spot on your bookshelf!
